About the Speaker

Rosemary Calderalo, PhD
Director of Gift Planning

Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (Maryland)

Rosemary has nearly 30 years' experience in the nonprofit sector in fundraising, donor support, programs & executive leadership. In her current role, she engages advisors, their clients & Foundation donors in philanthropic planning on topics ranging from tax strategies to multi-generational conversations & planned giving. Rosemary has found that regardless of scope of wealth, people often do not believe their lives have made or can make a difference; she enjoys helping her clients see that they can do just that, & that their dreams for the world can come true through the power of their charitable giving.

She has served in leadership positions with the Boys & Girls Club of America, Baltimore Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, United Way’s 2-1-1 in the Hudson Valley & the American Red Cross. Rosemary holds a doctorate in Adult Education & Women’s Studies from Syracuse University.
